I even got off to an early start (4:30 am) this morning and I'm still running later than I'd hoped. Just got up to the terminal in New Kingstown and dropped the trailer for overdue maintenance (we keep stickers on the front of the trailer with the date of it's last inspection - they should be checked every 2 months for everything from chassis lube to brakes, airlines, to electrical connections and lights).

I'm getting tired of digging this mini-van out of a 4 foot snow drift every time I return to PA ! It's nice to have something to get around in though - I should send the previous owner a note to let him know how much use I get out of this well maintained soccer-Mom-mobile (of course the seats are all stripped out now and it carries a footlocker, suitcase and my little used mountain bike).
Got my next assignment today so I know how to plan my next couple of days. I'll get home this afternoon, have a few hours at the house and a few at the pub. Sleep late tomorrow, do laundry and visit, then come back to PA and I guess watch the Bowl at the local pub up here.
Monday morning I drop this load of Cheerios in Palmyra (near Hershey) then motor over to NJ to get something there that will go to Montgomery, Illinois, one of the western Chicago suburbs (I'm thankful all our locations out there near Chicago are away from the city, I HATE Chicago traffic with a passion). Anyway, Monday will be a short day with me just returning to New Kingstown for the evening, I drive Tuesday from PA over to a northern Indianapolis suburb (truckstop) then make the final 4 hour drive up to Illinois on Wednesday. All in all an easy start to a new week, BUT WAIT, who said something about snow on Monday? Is it almost March yet? (I hear Ireland calling!)
