". . . but I have MILES TO GO before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep." Robert Frost
Almost like a real trucker !
Got my freight unloaded in the Chicago area this morning and now it's time, to get, my kicks, on Route 66 ! (eat your heart out Barry!). Will be following the old route prety much the whole way as I deliver this next load down to Albuquerque, New Mexico. I go on vacation next weekend so will turn back east on Monday (I hope!).
Thank You, I was on the mark about the weather the other day. Woke to rain, no snow, no problems even up on Monteagle though there was snow on the ground (not the roadway). The snow fell mostly in higher elevations but that didn't stop the city of Chattanooga from closing their schools. There was snow atop Lookout Mountain and Signal Mountain, and of course after a day of waiting for the temps to drop, the moisture to the east turned white and the mountains of the Carolinas and north east Georgia got a good, very wet, snowfall last night.
Well, gee! I get to turn my Atlas over to a seldom used page to plan this trip!bb.
