just rolled into Carlisle after driving from Indy this morning. Some snow flurries in the PA mountains but on the eastern side of the hills the temp is back up to the 40's. I'll go drop this trailer up the road in Mechanicsburg, take a half hour to inventory all our equipment at this customers property and report it to the company, then park at the yard then hit the local pub!
My next assignment is to drive down to a pretzel factory in Hanover, PA tomorrow and deliver a pre-loaded trailer out to Milwaukee Tuesday morning. Will look at the weather predictions tomorrow for Ohio to decide if I'll take the back roads out of Columbus and across Indiana or stay on I-70 and run back thru Indianapolis before turning north towards Chicago and up to Wisconsin Monday night.
The last installment of the Columbus sniper had a humourous twist - turns out somebody parked on the road way, shot out THEIR OWN WINDSHIELD FROM THE INSIDE, and then reported to the cops they were a victim of the sniper! Now THAT'S funny!
