". . . but I have MILES TO GO before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep." Robert Frost
Good Choice !
I avoided A LOT of bad weather and dangerous roads by swinging south yesterday. Only encountered snowy and icy roads in the final 80 miles of my 500 mile day. Dropped the trailer in one Chicago suburb (western) and then this morning went 20 miles to another to get a trailer that I delivered to the Ft. Wayne, IN area this afternoon. This region got hit by ice and everything is coated - some spectacular scenery as the sun set and the ice just looked like crystal hanging on pine trees, oak trees, phone lines, grass, and even turned a long chain link fence into a sparkling solid wall. Unfortunately with the icy road shoulders I couldn't stop for any photos. Switched trailers there in Ft. Wayne and am headed back to Mechanicsville, PA for a Wednesday morning delivery. Don't know if I will keep busy with local work for a few days til the weekend or get to head home Weds. afternoon.
Tonite it's a truckstop in world famous (yeah, right) Beaverdam, Ohio.
