". . . but I have MILES TO GO before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep." Robert Frost
Interesting day for Weather !
Left out of Oklahoma City after a night of high winds turned into a gale like rain and lightening storm this morning. 100 miles west I was under bright blue skies and working on that 'driver's tan' on the left arm. Late afternoon brought me up on whatever plateau is east of Albuquerque when the snow began! Up and over the ridge and down into the valley where the city lays and the western sky was clear with a nice orange sunset.
Dropped my trailer at the G MIlls plant a little earlier than scheduled and talked to the shipping supervisor to see if there were any east bound loads waiting to be picked up. Sure enough, there's one going back to Palmyra, PA but I haven't been assigned to it by my dispatch so will have to wait til morning to make sure it's for me.
If all goes well, I'll be back in OKC Monday night, West Memphis Tuesday, Knoxville Wednesday, Hagerstown Thursday, and make the delivery Friday morning. Of course, this IS the trucking biz, and it could ALL be screwed up when I wake tomorrow! stay tuned.b.
