". . . but I have MILES TO GO before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep." Robert Frost

another rediculous day of trying to figure out how to legally drive a long distance over a long period of time. These new Hours of Service Rules have got to change. Last night's delivery wasn't until 2am which was at the limit of my legal 14 hour day. But then I was expected to drive 250 miles into Ohio which I couldn't do directly even though I had gotten 8 hours sleep (I had to stop, take another 2 hour 'nap' before continuing. Now in Chicago, I'll have to do the same in order to get over to Iowa by noon tomorrow (an 8 hour break to compliment the previous 2 hour break adding up to the legally required 10 hours in the sleeper - are we confused yet? You should see me notepad trying to figure a schedule that is both legal and will get me to the warehouse on time. OH WELL! After dropping this trailer I get the rest of the day and overnite off in the great smelling town of Cedar Rapids!bb.
