It comes as no suprise to hear that the French have outdone themselves. This week, they met with the Arab League of Nations, and surrendered BEFORE THE WAR EVEN BEGAN!!!!
Yes, they hammered out a resolution with the United States where they would lead a multi-national force to occupy southern Lebanon until the Lebanese Army can stand up to Hezbolla themselves (what a STUPID proposition, the Lebanese WONT stand up to Hezbollah). But, after talking to other Arab national representatives, the French now disavow their own co-written resolution and claim that no forces other than Lebanese are needed.
Its also no surprise that in the name of ratings, FOXNEWS is now the official mouthpiece of Hezbollah. Why do I say that? Because for some reason, their editors feel it is important to break into news reporting to cover live, the propaganda speeches by the Hezbollah leader. They then continue to rehash the Hezbollah statements all afternoon. They may as well be funding the terrorist themselves, and this from the news channel that opposed news organizations revealing US Govt. programs that were questionably unconstitutional while at the same time paying the salary of Geraldo Rivera who sat in front of a FOX tv camera live, and reported on planned US troop movements in Iraq.
I've never paid much attention to the posiion of the White House Press Office before other than knowing I didn't like the weasel who had the position before Tony Snow. But did Tony Snow, today, politicize the press secretary's position by making derogatory comments about Democrats? He says he was repeating the stance of some other republican commentator, not attributing the view to the White House. hmmmmmm.
For some reason the White House (via Tony Snow) feels that the defeat of Lieberman is proof that the liberals are waving a white flag in the war on terrorism. They still thinks the Iraq war has something to do with terror and not a deadly, foolhardy attempt to shove demoracy down the throats of people who know no such thing?
Our troops are condemned to die needlessly as long as Bush remains in office, what a shame, what a crime. IMPEACH BUSH.
