". . . but I have MILES TO GO before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep." Robert Frost

Surfin' the Tube
sometimes driving right in front of these storm fronts makes me feel like one of those surfers in Hawaii crouched over while the wave is rolling and crashing over them. Another winter storm coming up from Missouri across Illinois hit Indianapolis just as I left this morning and is following me east (get ready, guys!). I'm just ahead of it so so far no ice but some snow flurries. I think the temps may just stay warm enough that this doesn't turn too nasty overnight.
I went from the Chicago area over to north central Illinois yesterday to get a load of something headed right back to Palmyra, PA for Friday morning. I'll get back to the terminal in New Kingstown tonite but probably not in time to do some research in Carlisle for our family genealogy project.
Our reseearch is getting interesting, maybe I'll chat about that some day - as it stands right now, there's a possibility my greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgrandfather may have lived his younger years just a few miles from my truck terminal! Small world and I plan to visit the local cemetery on a good day to read some headstones from the era of the late 1700's.
Well, back to the road, snow flakes caught up to me again!
No come backs - shout out
