Wintry mess
crossing my fingers that the sore throat I woke up with isn't going to lead somewhere more serious. Just took some Tylenol Flu just in case!
Messy driving yesterday on the PA turnpike, snow, icy patches, nothing wet and my windsheild wiper fluid was frozen solid! I must have pulled over 5 times in 2 1/2 hours to clear the window with windex from a bottle after pouring hot water on the water hoses didn't work (still frozen today).
Got to New kingstown, PA (just north of Carlisle, just SW of Harrisburg) and it looks like they had some snow over the weekend. Not a lot, but the cold weather made it the very light stuff that blows and piles up easily. Parking lots are ice skating rinks all around town.
Unloaded this morning, picked up cookies today, and will head out to Ft. Wayne, Indiana tomorrow.b.
